Lillian Park Improves Her Half Marathon PR In Route To CIM

Lillian Park just picked up a big confidence boost while she prepares for the Cal International Marathon in December. This past weekend she set a new personal best at the Wineglass Half Marathon and achieved a goal she’s been shooting for the past two years. Not only was Lillian all smiles after the race her coach, Leah Rosenfeld, was stoked too, “Lillian just ran a 3-minute PR in the half marathon! Her PR when she started with me 5-months ago was 1:46:36 and her short-term goal was to break 1:45:xx… today she ran 1:43:31!!!!”

“The Plan Worked Perfectly”

Drue Coles of Bloomsburg, PA set a new PR last month at the Wineglass Half Marathon in upstate NY. His official time was 1:29:45, just over one-minute faster than his previous best from 2014 and just under his ultimate goal of sub-1:30. [Full Results]

At age 53, it’s great to see Drue still getting faster. After the race he commented, “The plan worked perfectly….I’m glad I found The┬áRun SMART Project (and before that, Daniels’ Running Formula). I thought perhaps I had peaked in 2014 since my 2015 racing times were generally a little slower, but I guess I just needed the right workouts in the right order!”
