“I Couldn’t Ask For A Better Coach”

Judy Dore of Saratoga Spring, NY set a 4.5 minute PR at the Boston Marathon. Her official result was 3:43:07. [Full Results]

After the race Judy thanked her coach…

This was my favorite training cycle so far. Leah really mixed things up with my workouts, and not only did I get more fit, I had a blast doing it. She really challenged me, and I’m not surprised at how strong I felt throughout the race. I passed quite a few people, especially at the end. I’m especially excited that I’ll now get to register a week earlier for Boston next year, even with the new qualifying times.

Leah is so positive and upbeat, and her enthusiasm is infectious. I couldn’t ask for a better coach.

Melissa Perlman Saved Her Best For Boston

Melissa Perlman of Delray Beach, FL took advantage of her south Florida training in Boston last week to set a huge PR.

Proud to have finished my first Boston Marathon in a time of 3:00:09. It was a personal best by over 9-minutes from my first marathon back in June 2018 and I was the 174th female overall in a race of tens of thousands!!! But as I’m sure many can imagine – it stings a little (or a lot)! Those 9 seconds will motivate me to break (no shatter) the elusive 3hr mark in my next marathon! Special thank you to my dad (Russell) and Mark for being here in Boston to love and support me; Mark for being my day to day supporter through training with food, coffee, driving, sleep, love and letting me be me; to Leah Rosenfeld and The Run S.M.A.R.T. Project, LLC. for coaching me to HUGE PRs in the marathon and half marathon this year…

“I Love Both The Training And Working With Leah”

Melissa Perlman was top overall female at the Fort Lauderdale A1A Half Marathon in a new personal best of 1:24:50. [Full Results]

Leah Rosenfeld was pumped about her athlete’s performance, “This is a 3-minute and 53-second personal best AND she PR’d in her 10k en route!! This is all a part of her build-up to Boston this spring and she’s exactly where she should be. Another cool part of her race today is that she was 9-seconds faster than the time we predicted :)… looks like she wanted to prove me wrong!”

“Training Has Been Great!”

Ana Aguilera set a new PR (2:15:52) at the Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans Half Marathon. She dropped another 2-minutes after setting a personal best this fall. [Full Results]

“She’s Heading To Hopkinton!!!”

Lillian Park set a new marathon PR this past weekend in Phoenix. Her official result of 3:33:01 was 7-minutes faster than her previous best and much needed to ensure her spot in Boston. Her coach Leah Rosenfeld is excited…

The great part about this is that she was 4-minutes faster than the Boston qualifying standard back at CIM in 2017 when she ran 3:40:36. But then they changed the standard so she had to be under 3:40…so she crushed that by 7- minutes this morning! She’s heading to Hopkinton!!! Woohoo!

Boston Bound!

Fresh off of her half marathon PR in Wineglass, Lillian Park smashed her marathon PR at CIM this past weekend. Her official time of 3:40:36 was just over a 13-minute PR. [Full Results] She was strong and patient with a 1:50:03 split at the half, coming home in 1:50:33.

Lillian Park Improves Her Half Marathon PR In Route To CIM

Lillian Park just picked up a big confidence boost while she prepares for the Cal International Marathon in December. This past weekend she set a new personal best at the Wineglass Half Marathon and achieved a goal she’s been shooting for the past two years. Not only was Lillian all smiles after the race her coach, Leah Rosenfeld, was stoked too, “Lillian just ran a 3-minute PR in the half marathon! Her PR when she started with me 5-months ago was 1:46:36 and her short-term goal was to break 1:45:xx… today she ran 1:43:31!!!!”
