The 59-year-old NY Flyer has run this distance 33 times since 2001, according to NYRR’s race results archive. It’s also the fastest pace she’s averaged for any distance since she started racing in 2001. Elaine has been training under our tutelage for the past several years. It’s incredible to see her dedication and hard work paying off. She’s an inspiration to all masters runners that there is a fountain of youth.
