Tim Tubra Rings The BQ Bell At CIM With 2:59:50 (40 Min PR!!!!)

Fresh off his new half marathon PR last month, Tim Tubra kept the momentum going smashing his old marathon PR by over 40-minutes! At the Cal International Marathon his official time was 2:59:50, which helped him achieve his main goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. [Full Results]

“I made this a goal after my first marathon and it’s been something I’ve kept in my back pocket for when the time was right. Today was that day! Accomplishing goals is what drives me to challenge myself and when everything comes together it’s an incredible feeling.

Tim Tubra has been training hard for a BQ at the Cal International Marathon next month. His confidence is high now after setting a new half marathon PR during the most challenging stage of his training plan. At the Urban Cow Half Marathon, Tim set a new PR by 7-minutes, finishing in 1:25:06. He was 34th overall out of 2,774 runners. [Full Results]
