American Distance Running makes statement in Boston

Today at the Boston Marathon, Americans went 3-4-5-7-10 in the mens field. An impressive finish and a promising sign that Americans can compete on the world marathon stage.

No Run S.M.A.R.T. athletes competed in this years Boston Marathon. Here are the 2006 results for Men and Women.

Run S.M.A.R.T. Athlete sets 2nd PR in Two Weeks!!

Sommer McNaughton of Mooresville, NC rattled off her 2nd straight PR in just two weeks.

In the Charlotte RaceFest at South Park Half-Marathon, Sommer clocked in at 1:53:41 besting her previous Half PR by one minute from this past November.

Run S.M.A.R.T. Athlete Wins Triathlon

Run S.M.A.R.T. Project coach Vince Sherry has been working with a young up 'n comer in the triathlete world, Brian Astell. Recently, Brian competed in an XTERRA USA Championship Series Race in California and took a home a huge victory.

Astell was first overall by 2 minutes in The Real Mountain Bike Triathlon. You can view the complete results here.
